Nokia helping Windows Phone slowly gain more market share

Microsoft has quite the fruitful partnership with Nokia.  In a new report by Seeking Alpha, you can see that Windows Phone has been slowly gaining market share through out the world.  A large portion of this is due to the hard push in marketing that Nokia is doing for their smartphones, especially for the Lumia series phones.

Nokia recently released their Lumia 1020 smartphone with a monstrous 41-megapixel camera.  The smartphone comes with Windows software, better yet, all Lumia phones come with it.  Windows Phone is now in third place as being one of the big OS system in the world.

Another reason why Windows Phone has been gaining market share is due to the downfall of BlackBerry.  The Canadian-based company has not been doing well over the last few years, simply due to the fact that they did not release new models of their phones, in other words did not provide the consumers with the latest technology.  Apple’s iPhone changed the entire game starting in 2007.

Can Windows Phone continue to gain market share?
