Time Warner Cable-CBS Dispute extends to the iOS platform

cbs-130805

If you thought the dispute between CBS and Time Warner Cable might come to a closure soon, might want to think again.  Customers on the iOS platform, especially those who use the iPad streaming CBS app will notice that their app no longer provides internet streaming.

Instead, it provides a short 45-second video of CBS trying to convince customers to contact TWC and ask them to re-enable CBS on their network.  The message overall says “Say no to Time Warner Cable’.

This of course is not good news, especially for sports fans.  CBS owns the broadcasting rights to American Football Conference teams, such as the New York Jets and New England Patriots, and this outage also extends to Showtime.

So if you would like CBS streaming back on your iPad, why not contact TWC?
