Samsung to debut ‘Galaxy Gear’ at IFA next month

SAMSUNG CSC

A while back, Samsung confirmed that it has been working on a smartwatch to bring into the market.  Main reason why they are looking to debut a smartwatch all of a sudden is because of Apple working on their own ‘iWatch’.  According to a new report by Sammobile, Samsung has confirmed that they are going to debut the ‘Galaxy Gear’ at IFA on September 4.

The specs and other details of Galaxy Gear is currently unknown.  Samsung will also be unveiling the Galaxy Note III at IFA.  The rumored specs of Galaxy Note III are 5.7-inch display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor (domestic market) and an eight-core Exynos 5 Octa (international version), 3GB of RAM and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software.

The competition between Samsung and Apple continues to heat up as they both enter the smartwatch market.  Right after rumor got out that Apple is looking to release a smartwatch, Samsung got right on it with developing their own smartwatch to release in the market before Apple does.

Will Samsung see success in this new market?
