Apple to reportedly unveil next-gen iPad on Sept. 10 event

Apple Inc. CEO Steve Jobs introduces the iPad 2 on stage during an Apple event in San FranciscoSo far, we have been hearing about Apple introducing the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on September 10 event, even with recent rumors of iOS 7 also to debut on this date.  Parts have been leaking left and right about the low-cost iPhone 5C, along with the iPhone 5S, but what we have not seen much about is the next-gen iPad.

According to a report from Bloomberg, an unnamed source told them that Apple plans to unveil the next iPad at the event.  Lately, we have not seen much of iPad parts leaking out, whether it’s because of tight security and control Apple has over suppliers, or maybe the next-gen iPad has not started production yet.

This is the first time we are hearing about the iPad 5 to debut during the September 10 event.  Previously, it was said that Apple may hold another event in October of this year to debut the iPad 5 along with the possible Retina iPad mini. Apple has yet to send out invitations for the event, and with under two weeks remaining for the due date, rumors and speculation are only getting hotter.

Even though iOS 7 is rumored to launch on September 10 as well, it is highly unlikely that the new iPads will be released in September, given that iOS 7 on the tablets are far from finished.
