Samsung-Galaxy-Note-33-enters-the-phablet-ringOne of the highly anticipated phablets in the market right now was the Galaxy Note 3.  Leaks and rumors suggested that the Note 3 would not only have slimmer design than the Note 2, but also have jaw dropping internals.  Recent benchmark from AnTuTu performance report suggested that the Note 3 is even more beefier than the S4, which scored very impressively on the benchmark.

Well, the wait is now over.  Samsung officially announced their Galaxy Note 3 phablet at IFA 2013 today, and it did impress quite a few people.  The Note 3 comes with a slimmer and lighter design.  The Note 2 was much thicker than the Note 1 when it was introduced before.

Moving on to the most interesting part of the phablet, the part which you guys are most looking forward to: the hardware.  Samsung Galaxy Note 3 sports a 5.7″ Full HD Super AMOLED display, 1.9 GHz Exynos 5 Octa or 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipsets (depending on markets), 3GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB storage options with expandable microSD slot storage to 64GB.  The Note 3 comes with 6 different band support in terms of LTE networking, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS / GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth v 4.0, IR LED (Remote Control), and MHL 2.0 port for wired connectivity.

The Note 3 comes with a 13 mega-pixel camera being brought over from the S4, and it also includes a high-CRI (color rendering index) LED flash. Depending on the Note model, the camera can record 4K Ultra HD video or 1080p video with 60fps. Also, Ultra High Quality Audio (~192KHz, 24 bit) support is present.  The phablet also comes with a 3200 mAh battery life to provide you a long day battery life without having to worry about charging all the time.

The Galaxy Note 3 will become available on September 25th in more than 140 countries worldwide. In the U.S., it will appear later this year on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular.
