Pantech looking to introduce Vega Note, a 5.9 inch phablet

Pantech-Vega-Note-inviteWhile companies like Samsung and Apple are getting all of the mainstream attention, other companies are working hard to attract some attention away.  In this case, from a new report by Osen, Pantech is looking to introduce a new phablet in the market called “Vega Note.”

The Pantech Vega Note will feature a 5.9-inch HD display, 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm, 2 GB of RAM, fast LTE-A support, and Android 4.2.2.  What’s more more interesting is that the company will also introduce a fingerprint sensor on the back, as well as a stylus.

Looking at the Vega Note, it seems that Pantech is bringing all the latest technology into one device.  What you love about the Galaxy Note, such as the use of stylus and the screen size, while at the same time, you get the fingerprint sensor technology that came in the recent release of the iPhone 5s.  Previous to the iPhone 5s introducing fingerprint sensor, we have seen the Fujitsu Arrow A hosting the feature, and also the HTC One Max.

While Pantech introducing this new device with all of these features is nice, it will also attract a lot of legal problems from the big guys.  The upcoming phablet includes a stylus and a fingerprint sensor, while are not new to the world, but can be problems for the company if necessary steps are not taken such as getting the proper licenses.

Pantech will be introducing the Vega Note on October 10.  Who’s ready?
