It has become one of the most successful products in the industry.  Apple earlier this month sold it’s 170 million iPad.  This is a very incredible number that has gone viral, and now in first place in the market.

The iPad is used more than any of the rest.  The tablet is used 81% of the time, much more than any other tablet on the market.  People just use it because it’s very popular, and it’s rated number one in customer satisfaction.  The reason is because the iPad combines the software and hardware into an incredible experience.  This is something no competitor has been able to match.  There are over 475,000 apps for the iPad available today.  The iPad offers so many different ways to offer productive apps, to help you go above and beyond with any task you may have.

First up, the larger iPad.  The company has brought in a fully redesigned tablet to the market.  Thinner, lighter and more powerful than ever before.  The new iPad is called “iPad Air.”   Comes with 9.7-inch Retina Display, the bezel around it is much smaller, it is 43% thinner.  The design is much more thinner at 7.5mm., being 20% thinner.  The new iPad weighs 1.0 pound and is the lightest tablet in the world.

The iPad Air comes with the new A7 chip that was previously announced.  Comes with 64-bit architecture, and also with M7 motion sensor chip.  Graphics performance is 2x faster, and is 72x faster than the original iPad.    CPU performance is 8x faster than the original iPad.  There is a 2x increase in rendering, professional applications open at 2x rate, faster WiFi with MiMo technology, with up to 300 mbps, and with LTE support.  Has 5MP iSight camera, HD video, new FaceTime camera, dual microphones, and with Siri, of course.  All of this still comes with 10-hour battery life.

It comes with Silver and White, and Space gray and Black color choices.  Starts at $499 for WiFi model, and $629 for LTE model.  It starts shipping on November 1.

Now for the iPad mini…

The iPad mini has been a big hit with customers.  Comes with a 7.9 inch display and you can pretty much do anything you want with this that you can do with the bigger version.

The one most requested feature was Retina Display, and that is exactly what’s been added.  The Retina display is 2048×1526 at 7.9-inch.  Comes with A7 chip with 64-bit architecture.  It’s 4x faster at CPU tasks and is 8x faster for GPU.  It still gives 10 hour battery life.  Comes with expanded LTE support, 5-mp iSight camera, HF Facetime camera.  Comes in Silver and White, and Space Gray and black.  Comes at $399 for WiFi model and $529 for cellular model.

The first iPad mini has been cut to $299.  The new iPad mini comes at $399 and older one comes at $299.  This is great for Apple due to the price reduction.

The company has introduced a new iPad cover, with polyurethane for both iPads, for $39 each.  Also comes with iPad leather case, at $79 for iPad Air and $69 for iPad mini.
