Google adds Walmart to its retailers list who now sell Chromecast

29072013-chromecast1:20 PM – Google has been recently pushing for Chromecast to be sold at retail stores.  Best Buy was one of the first retailers to start selling the device (and still sells it).  Several other businesses have been added to the list such as Staples, Verizon and Motorola.  Now another giant retailer is being added and it’s not a small business either.

Walmart has a very giant chain of stores and Google getting the opportunity to partner up with them is a great way to sell Chromecast.  With over $443.9 billion in net sales annually, the retail giant is sure to help Google gain some traction on selling Chromecast.

Google’s list of partners is slowly but surely growing.  This is a very good sign for the company as it works hard to make products available to its customers.  The company may not have a retail advantage like Apple, but it still has the power to partner up with other businesses to sell its products.

Google’s Chromecast is a very cheap wireless video streaming solution that offers to stream apps such as Netflix and YouTube to your TV.  You can use an Android or iOS tablet as remote to control your TV.  If you use an Android tablet, you will have access to Google Music, Google TC and many, many movies.  Its very small size and hides neatly behind your TV and makes it easy to take on-the-go.

Who’s getting the Chromecast for holidays?
