New Android-powered H6 Smart TVs unveiled by HiSense

hisense_logo8:30 AM – HiSense, a Chine based electronics manufacturer is at it again.  This time, the company has introduced a couple new products and has gained some attention from the media.

The company has announced new Android-powered H6 Smart TVs, available in 40-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch sizes.  The TVs come paired with the company’s Social TV and Cloud Services app and is powered by the latest Marvell’s ARMADA 1500 PLUS HD Media processor.  Additionally, looking into the hardware side, the TVs have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Energy Star 6.0 qualifications, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.

The TVs remote comes with 30 keys, a built-in air mouse with IQQI Smart Input and voice search functionality.

If you aren’t looking to purchase the new TV, much like how some other TV set-top boxes work, the company has also introduced a new solution that can be added to any TV.  Revealed as the Pulse PRO set-top box, it has all the functionality of what you get in the H6 Smart TVs, but in a set-top box that can be attached to any TV.

There are several other features in the Pulse PRO such as Netflix, Vudu HD movies, Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, Google Play, HDMI, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and Ethernet.

Currently, pricing, pictures and availability information has not been released yet, but we will keep you posted.
