Crackdown 3, a highly anticipated open-world game that was to be released alongside Xbox One X on November 7th, has been delayed until spring of 2018. It’s always difficult when a company has to delay a game title launch, especially since Crackdown 3 is a major Xbox-exclusive title. The title was to take advantage of the turbo-charged 4k-capability of the console.
The game was first announced three years ago at E3 2014. Microsoft Studios Publishing manager Shannon Loftis tells Polygon that “We’re very excited about Crackdown 3, and so are many fans, and so it’s a difficult call to move the release date.” Furthermore, she says that “we want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time.”
It's always disappointing to move a date. We are very committed to shipping @Crackdown 3 to the level of quality the fans deserve.

While the original Crackdown was a great game, Crackdown 2 was the same type of experience with the addition of zombies. Crackdown 3 on the contrary doesn’t have zombies and so far looks like a very highly anticipated Xbox game.
When the Xbox One X launches, there are several games that you may not be able to play to full capability and will notice performance difference. This is until those games that will update accordingly to support the 4K features of the console.
If you want to pick up the game, preorders start tomorrow. Just remember, the game has been delayed until spring 2018.
