DirecTV Now is now testing cloud DVR with 100 hours of storage

We knew for a while now that AT&T’s DirecTV Now service would bring cloud DVR to the service. It was just a matter of time. DirecTV Now, the online streaming service for cord cutters, is now testing cloud DVR feature with 100 hours of storage, to start. This service has yet to officially launch, but we know a few things that we will pass on to you.

According to a recent leak posted on Cord Cutters News, screenshots of the DVR function in action were posted there. The images give us a glimpse of the record button in the app, and beta testers say that you can swipe on a recording in your “My Library” to delete them easily.

AT&T has previously announced that it plans to test DVR feature while preparing a large platform update. Of course the feature is being first introduced to beta testers before going public.

Currently, there is no information of how the DVR feature will be priced, if it will even be priced extra (I had to say it…), or it will be included as part of current pricing.
