7-Eleven announced today that it’s currently testing mobile ordering on its 7-ElevenNow app at select locations in Dallas, Texas. The 7-Eleven app is available for download in Apple’s App Store and the Google Play Store.
Through the app, you can earn 7Rewards where customers are able to earn these points for making purchases through the app. If you choose the delivery option, the app will find the nearest participating 7-Eleven store and send the order to a third-party courier. They will then deliver the goods to you.
Customers have the option to order and pay for snacks, gift cards, home goods, makeup, drinks, and many other products through the company’s app. This will especially be useful for neighborhoods with a single, but inconveniently located 7-Eleven location.
The company is currently conducting beta tests on this service for delivery and in-store pickups at 10 downtown and uptown 7-Eleven locations in Dallas. As a small bonus, customers who try out the app and service in the Dallas area will get free delivery on their first order. The company says the feature is expected to roll out to other US locations next year.
