Google says it sold over 6 million Home speakers since mid-October

One of the biggest holiday shopping season is behind us, and Google seems to be proud of how well its products performed since mid-October. Google decided to brag a bit about how successful its Home speakers have been in a blog post published yesterday.

In the blog post, the company claims that it sold “more than one … every second since Google Home Mini started shipping in October.” Essentially, this means that from October 19th through the end of yesterday, the company has sold at least 6.73 million speakers.

While Google is claiming to have sold millions of Home speakers, it didn’t give a breakdown of how those sales were split between the Home, the Home Mini, and the Home Max. Though it’s safe to say the the Home Mini is by far the most popular speaker for Google this holiday season. After all, the Home Mini was on sale for $29 for most of the season.

If you take a look at the Home Max, it only launched mid-December and costs $399. This leads us to believe that the Home Max is expected to be a very small portion of the millions of sales.
