Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ cost on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon

Samsung just took the wraps off of its latest flagship Galaxy S9 smartphone at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. Now, all major wireless carriers in the United States will be carrying it and we’ll show you how much they’re going to charge you for the latest devices from Samsung.

Basically, you’re looking at around $800 for the Galaxy S9 and around $900 for the Galaxy S9 Plus. Generally speaking, pricing isn’t that simple because wireless carriers tend to offer incentives for customers to buy one of the newest devices.

We’ll continue updating the information as it comes in. Preorders will start March 2nd and the device will go on sale starting March 16th. Here are some of the details as have so far:

AT&T

Purchasing Phone Outright

  • $790.20 for S9
  • $915 for S9 Plus

Monthly Installments:

  • $26.34 per month for 30 months for the Galaxy S9
  • $30.50 per month for 30 months for the Galaxy S9 Plus

T-Mobile

Installments:

  • $30 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy S9
  • $30 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy S9 Plus, but requires a $120 down payment.
  • Totals: $720 for the S9 and $840 for the S9 Plus

Trade-in: You can get up to $360 off an S9 and S9 Plus when you purchase the phones on an installment plan. You can trade in flagship phones as far back as the iPhone 6S or the Galaxy S7 and get $360 off the new devices. T-Mobile will also give you $200 off for trade-ins of flagships dating back to the iPhone 5S and Galaxy S4. Keep in mind that these discounts come in with bill credits, so you will have to stay with AT&T in order to take advantage of the full deal.

Verizon

Purchasing Phone Outright

  • $800 for S9
  • $930 for S9 Plus

Monthly Installments:

  • $33.33 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy S9
  • $38.74 per month for 24 months for the Galaxy S9 Plus

Trade-in: You can get $100 to $350 off the S9 and S9 Plus when you buy the device(s) on an installment plan and trade-in a working device that’s in good condition. In order to get the full $350 discount, you must trade in a Galaxy S8, iPhone 8, ora newer device. Other flagship devices could net you as much as $300. Lastly, you can get $200 off for two to three year old devices, and $100 for the iPhone SE and Galaxy S5.

Best Buy

Promo

  • Get $100 off if you preorder the devices through AT&T, Verizon, or Spring on March 2nd only. After that day, Best Buy will be offering a discount of “up to $100,” which means discounts will vary depending on the carriers.
  • $915 for S9 Plus

Trade-in:

  • Get up to $350 off when trading in “a qualified smartphone.” We don’t have any specifics on this but will report it as soon as we have additional details.
