The first keynote speech of Facebook‘s F8 event is just a few hours away. We’re expecting the company to release information regarding a whole range of things, including the mass-market standalone VR headset. Two years ago, the company showcased the early standalone VR work with “Project Santa Cruz”, and last year revealed the Oculus Go and the $199 price tag.
For those of you that are interested in the headset, you can now get to pre-ordering it right on Amazon. If you’re sure that you want a headset that will bring a VR experience without needing any help from a PC or phone, then you can go ahead and pre-order right now.
Unfortunately, we don’t know the release date just yet, but of course, as we get closer, we will find out more. Stay tuned!
