See the latest Pixel 3 XL leak found by Lyft driver

Device leaks have become quite the norm in the smartphone market. With the way the market is, companies like Apple and Samsung have tried to keep their designs hidden until the launch event, but it’s becoming increasingly harder. Apple, especially, has been over the years been very secretive, but have run into issues as well.

That being said, the latest leak is for Google‘s upcoming Pixel 3 headset. Here’s the real kicker: the device was found in the back seat of a Lyft. Our friends over at Android Police managed to get their hands on the Pixel 3 XL photos that were taken by the vehicle driver. The Lyft driver discovered the device a few minutes after dropping the passengers off.

The Lyft driver was able to recognize the device fairly quickly due to also being a Pixel 2 XL owner, making it easy to recognize and take photos of the device.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Pixel 3 will feature a 5.5-inch display with a 2160×1080 resolution and a 2:1 aspect ratio. In addition, it will likely come with a 2,915mAh battery and two front-facing 8-megapixel cameras (f/1.8 and f/2.2 apertures). In terms of the the Pixel 3 XL device, it will come powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor backed by 4GB of RAM.

Both devices are expected to be unveiled by Google at their October 9th event in New York City, according to Bloomberg.
