Meet Samsung’s Galaxy S10+ (Plus), the bigger model that will cost you about $1,00, and was unveiled at Samsung’s event today. The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary of Galaxy S series by going big and they have really brought it for everyone.
The Galaxy S10+ (Plus) model brings you a 6.4-inch screen that’s very compact due to the slim bezels offered. In terms of the screen, Samsung boasts that this screen is the first to earn the HDR10+ certification.
For the cameras, the Galaxy S10+ offers you the same three rear cameras — a main 12-megapixel dual aperture wide-angle lens with OIS, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS (and 2x optical zoom), and best of all, a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor with fixed focus — but there’s also a second selfie camera with an 8-megapixel sensor that will help you take depth-mode portrait selfies that’s powered through hardware, rather than software.
As far as configurations go, the Galaxy S10+ (Plus) is offered in both 128GB and 512GB storage options, but there’s also a third option: 1TB storage. With 1TB storage, you will never run out of space, and best of all, you can get 12GB RAM with it. If you want to use your microSD cards, you can do so up to 512GB. Supposedly, Samsung is bringing more durable ceramic backing option in white and black if you purchase the 512GB or 1TB models.
For the battery, Samsung is bringing a 4,100 mAh that will surely last you all day and even more. The front of the device offers a curved Gorilla Glass 6, and Gorilla Glass 5 on the back. The S10 also offers support for Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wi-Fi 6.
Lastly, the Galaxy S10+ (Plus) offers the following color options: Flamingo Pink, Canary Yellow, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Prism Black, and Prism White. Unfortunately, if you’re a US buyer, you will not have the option to get the Canary Yellow and Prism Green. Color options will vary depending on the region in the world.
