Meet Samsung’s Galaxy S10 5G model, the newest and best model that has a price which Samsung has not announced yet, and was unveiled at Samsung’s event today. The company is celebrating its 10th anniversary of Galaxy S series by going big and introducing the world to Galaxy S10 5G.
The Galaxy S10 5G model brings you a whopping 6.7-inch screen that’s very gorgeous. In terms of the screen, Samsung boasts that this screen is the first to earn the HDR10+ certification. But wait, there’s even more.
For the cameras, the Galaxy S10 5G offers you the four rear cameras — a 3D depth-sensing camera, a main 12-megapixel dual aperture wide-angle lens with OIS, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS (and 2x optical zoom), and a 16-megapixel ultrawide sensor with fixed focus. Just so you know, the 3D camera is for awesome tricks and AR, not for secure scanning of your face like Apple’s Face ID functions.
Samsung is bringing a huge 4,500 mAh that will surely last you all day with plenty to spare, even for a power user. As far as configurations go, the Galaxy S10 5G is offered in 256GB storage and 8GB of RAM. One thing to point out is that the Galaxy S10 5G does not come with a microSD card slot. Yes, you read that correctly.
Lastly, the Galaxy S10+ (Plus) offers the following color options: Flamingo Pink, Canary Yellow, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Prism Black, and Prism White. Unfortunately, if you’re a US buyer, you will not have the option to get the Canary Yellow and Prism Green. Color options will vary depending on the region in the world. The pricing for the Galaxy S10 5G has not been announced, but what we do know is that it will come to Verizon first in Q2. In early April, it will be introduced on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Xfinity Mobile.
