If you’re looking for a new place, Zillow is usually your go-to place. As such, the service will make it easier for potential-buyers in the North American market to use 3D home tour feature. The company has finally made its 3D home tours available across the US and Canada. This allows real estate agents to spice up their listings through the use of an iOS app.
What is Zillow’s 3D Home Tour?
Zillow’s 3D home tours are fairly straight forward. Sellers can create 360-degree panoramas of rooms by using an iPhone or through Ricoh Theta V or Z1 camera. The app will then stitch everything together to create a “seamless” tour that is appealing for all. This isn’t a VR tour, but will be able to save home buyers a visit in case they want to keep looking quickly.
Interested realtors can add 3D tours to their listings for free, and are fairly quick to make. Zillow said that realtors can take “as little as” 15 to 20 minutes to produce. All in all, showing a virtual experience and attaching it to a listing will go a long way for customer experience.
