7:50 PM – OUYA has gained a lot of mainstream attention with its Android-powered gaming console. Up until now, only a black version of the console was available for order, but now the company is kicking things up a notch.
According to OUYA’s website, the company is now making a Limited Edition White OUYA available for pre-order for all customers. There are a few different things in this new white console, however.
First thing different is the pricing. Unlike the black console’s $99 price tag, this new white console is priced at $129, a cool $30 above the original. Along with it being limited edition white, the company has increased the on-board storage space to 16 GB. You can expand the storage via external means.
The products specs are:

- Console Dimensions: 75mm x 75mm x 82mm (2.9in x 2.9in x 3.2in)
- Storage: 16GB Internal Flash Storage (expandable via USB Port)
- USB: One USB 2.0 port, One Micro USB port
- Connectivity: WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n), Ethernet port, and Bluetooth
- Video Output: HDMI (up to 1080p HD)
- Connectivity: Bluetooth
- Dimensions: 163mm x 109mm x 53.5mm (6.4in x 4.2in x 2.1in)
If you want an extra controller, it will cost an additional $49.99. Currently, the console is only available in North America, perhaps for now. Later on, the company may decide to expand internationally.
