For those of you who loves Spotify and your Xbox One’s, we have some good news for you today. According to a Reddit post spotted earlier this week, we can see pictures of Microsoft’s Larry Hryb (Major Nelson) testing the Spotify app for Xbox One.
This leads us to believe that Spotify integration into Xbox in form of an app is on the way. From what we are seeing, internal testing is being performed before a general release is issued.
In recent news, we’ve seen Spotify arriving in the Windows Store as a desktop version for Windows 10 devices. The new Spotify app for Xbox One will mean that Microsoft’s gaming console users will now be able to access their playlists and listen to music. It’s worth noting that Spotify first made its debut to Sony’s PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles more than two years ago.
Microsoft continues to make advances in their Xbox One platform, and will reveal new enhancements in the coming months leading up to the new Xbox One X console.
