Boost Mobile this morning announced that all of its service plan prices will now include taxes and fees built in. This is a change that’s following T-Mobile’s business model and it helps to simplify bills for customers. Now only that, but it also helps to gain customer confidence.
Customers are tired of getting overcharged and being hit with surprise fees. For Boost Mobile customers, this should provide comfort knowing that your bill that’s charged to you is the exact amount that you’re paying.
T-Mobile made this move earlier this year when the company said that taxes and fees are built into their newest service plans. Since Boost Mobile is under the Sprint brand, this could mean that Sprint is looking to test to see how successful this model could be for them. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Sprint making the transition to this model later this year or next year to try and win over more customers.
