Preorders for Apple’s iPhone X start this Friday at 3AM ET. If you’re a Sprint customer or planning to switch to Sprint, the carrier already has a deal for you. Sprint is offering a deal through its Flex leasing program where you will pay $22.22 per month for 18 months, if you trade in an older device.
Much like Sprint offered a deal on the iPhone 8, there are a few things to keep in mind. The discounted price is only for the first 18 months. If you wish to keep the phone outright, instead of trading it to Sprint for a new lease, you’ll have to pay out the last six months at the full price of $41.62 per month (roughly). If you end up paying for the phone outright, you end up paying about $649.68, which compared to $999 price point isn’t a bad deal.
If you’re interested in trading in your old device, it will have to be a recent iPhone or Android device. The list of devices include: the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, Samsung Note 5, LG G5, LG G6, LG V20, Google Pixel, Google Pixel XL, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z2 Force, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z2 Play, BlackBerry KeyOne, and the HTC U11.
Sprint is offering the deal to both current and new customers. For the iPhone 8, however, the company only offered the deal for new Sprint sign-ups only. It seems the company did learn something by not offering the iPhone 8 deal to current subscribers and is now giving the iPhone X deal to all that are interested, current or new sign-ups.
