Apple has released Meltdown patches for older versions of macOS

Meltdown and Spectre vulerabilities have really shaken the tech industry. Companies are scrambling left and right to try and patch their hardware. If you have an older version of macOS, there’s some good news for you.

Today, Apple released updates that will help protect some older operating systems against the Meltdown vulnerability. Previously, Apple released patches for High Sierra, which left Sierra and El Capitan not protection. That is no longer the case.
