If you’re a YouTube live TV user and you own an Apple TV device, there’s something good news for you today. Google-owned video streaming site YouTube announced that its streaming live TV service is now available on Apple TV devices. In a tweet to all Apple TV owners, the official YouTube TV account disclosed information that its app is now available on tvOS devices.
The news comes after YouTube TV was made available on compatible Rocky devices. YouTube continues to expand its YouTube TV service on other set-top box platforms but has hit several roadblocks in the past since its spring 2017 launch.

Previously, YouTube announced in December that it had delayed the launch on Rocky and Apple TV devices to the first quarter of 2018 after failing to meet an earlier deadline the company had previously set back in late October.
This is definitely a welcome addition for subscribers of YouTube TV. Like YouTube’s streaming service, which is similar to PlayStation Vue and Sling, lets you bypass big-name cable providers to access premium channels at a flat fee of $35. YouTube TV is now available in up to 80 metro areas and now has more than 50 networks as part of its offered package.
