You have heard it before, and you will probably keep hearing it until it happens. Apple is rumored to unveil the iPhone 5S and low-cost iPhone 5C on September 10 event. Now generally, we would expect Apple to also make the latest iOS 7 software available to the general public on the same day, however could also be delayed until the new products start shipping.
According to a new report from Owened, Nuance plays an important role when it comes to voice-recognition for Siri, the digital assistant present in your latest iOS devices. Nuance, in an email to it’s developers, seems to have made a mistake. In the email, members of Nuance’s NDEV Program who are using SpeechKit 1.4.5 speech services were told that iOS 7 generally availability (GA) will take place on September 10.
With just two weeks left, Apple generally releases a Gold Master (GM) version of the software before making everything public. The GM version essentially is the final version, but it’s a final chance for developers to test their apps on a complete platform where many bugs have been eliminated.
