If you’re not a fan of what Apple’s earphone and headphone lineup has to offer, it appears that the company is working on over-the-ear headphones due for release later this year.
According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via Apple Insider), Apple is creating over-the-ear headphones that will be released this fall when the new iPhones are announced and released. So, the question remains: is Apple creating these headphones with its own branding or using the Beats brand?
Along with the over-ear headphones, Apple is said to also be working on their second interaction of AirPods where the company will introduce some improvements, as well as possible color options.
Price is another thing that’s something to wonder about. How much could Apple get away with charging for these new over-ear headphones? Knowing Apple, the company may charge anywhere from $299 to $399. My money is on Apple charging $349 because that seems to be a sweet spot for the company.
