Amazon’s two-hour PrimeNow Whole Foods delivery service is quite tempting for consumer, and it appears that Walmart is looking to compete. Walmart is adding a similar feature for its members-only warehouse chain, Sam’s Club.
Walmart is partnering up with Intacart, allowing customers to order food and other goods from Sam’s Club and get them delivered to your door on the same day.
Starting today, customers can do this in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth and St. Louis. Not only can Sam’s Club members can advantage of this but Instacart customers can as well. While the company has introduced the service in a few cities so far, it plans to expand this delivery service to ‘millions of additional households across the US throughout 2018, and beyond’ — assuming that the company is also planning outside the US as well.
