One of the main reasons why iPhone owners are very loyal to Apple is because they can walk right into an Apple Store and get anything fixed on their device. Samsung so far has not been able to offer such experience, until now.
Starting March 15th, you can visit one of 300-plus uBreakiFix locations in the US and get officially sanctioned in-person repairs done on your high-end Galaxy phones. The phones range from the S6 and Note 5 through the S9 and Note 8. Both companies are promising same-day repairs, usually in less than 2 hours for “most” issues.
For convenience’s sake, you can schedule an appointment, but walk-ins are also welcome, if you’re able to stick around for a while. The repair locations will handle both in- and out-of-warranty repairs for devices. If there’s no outlet near you, don’t worry because roughly 200 more uBreakiFix locations will start offering Samsung-authorized repairs by early 2019.
While the range of phones supported in the repair process is limited, it’s hard to complain because Samsung is bringing repair locations for their customers. Having to mail your device in for repair or go to an unofficial repair shop is more painful. When you go to a Samsung-authorized repair shop like uBreakiFix, you can avoid those hassles and spend more time using your device instead of trying to worry about getting it fixed.
