If you’ve been thinking about getting your hands on the PSVR bundle, there’s some good news for you. Sony has announced that it’s bringing a massive discount to its console-powered VR headsets. The new starting prices for the PSVR will be $299 in the US, £259 in the UK, €299 in Europe and 34,980 Yen in Japan. These are down from $399, €399, £349 and 44,980 Yen, respectively.
For example, the Doom VFR package that was $400 in the US and $500 CAD in Canada is now $400 and $380 CAD but also come with the same accessories. It’s a massive discount that Sony is offering on all of its PSVR bundles.
The base model will come with a headset and camera as well as a download code for VR Worlds that will be included in the purchase. If you live in Australia and New Zealand, unfortunately you’ll have to wait a little longe because the price cuts don’t take effect until April 2nd globally.
Sony hasn’t said that these price cuts are permanent, but there’s a high chance that these could cuts could be permanent.
