It’s that time again for OnePlus where they’re starting to drum up hype for their next release, and this means that they’re teasing some spec details to everyone. CEO Pete Lau confirmed some previous rumors around the OnePlus 6, and these details shouldn’t be too much of a surprise seeing as the company has a tradition of bringing some powerful hardware.
The nearly-all-screen handset is expected to come with the Snapdragon 845 processor, offer up to 8GB of RAM, and carry up to 256GB of internal storage, which is an up from the 5T’s 128GB. The storage option that high is fairly common among larger companies like Apple and Samsung, but usually not common in smaller brands.
According to previous rumors, the OnePlus 6 will come with a 6.3-inch, 2,280 x 1,080 screen, 20- and 16-megapixel rear cameras and a front 20-megapixel camera. The base model of the device is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is twice as much as the previously offered 5T. Though take these rumors with a grain of salt until the 6 is officially announced with all the details.
OnePlus hasn’t announced an event to unveil the 6 yet, but it shouldn’t be long seeing as it’s already releasing teasers for the handset.
