Remember the Essential Phone? If you’re eagerly waiting for it, then you’re about to head some good news. First wave of Essential Phones will start shipping within a week, according to emails sent by the company to early buyers.
According to a report from 9to5Google, Essential sent out messages to customers who pre-registered for their phone. The black version of the phone (‘Black Moon’) will ship within 7 days. If you are interested in the “Pure White” version, it’s still “a couple of weeks away.”
At this time, there’s no exact release date for either of the phones. The email to pre-registered buyers is a good sign that the phone will soon be in the hands of some buyers. The phone has set high levels of expectations by Andy Rubin, the man behind Essential.
What’s more interesting is that Essential is already valued more than a billion dollars, but hasn’t shipped a single phone.
