Automakers like BMW, Lexis and Volvo are making it easier for their customers to get cars via subscription. In Volvo’s case, the Care by Volvo program gives you access to all-wheel-drive XC40, routine maintenance, roadside assistance, insurance and no money down for just $600 a month.
All of those features sound nice and all, but how do you sign up? Well, it’s a lot easier than you think. You can now sign up and pay your monthly car subscription via an iOS app and Apple Pay. That’s right, it’s easy as that.
You an use your iOS device to run the Care by Volvo app, and use both TOuch ID as well as Face ID to authorize payment. Through the app, you can take a virtual tour of the XC40, configure your own with available options and fill in your details for the subscription. You can do all of this right form the iOS app and no need to visit the website.
Once you have submitted all of your details, a Volvo concierge will get in touch with you to coordinate delivery of the vehicle.
