Apple will discontinue its annual music festival that it holds in London every year. The company is known to hold its Apple Music Festival at the Camden Roadhouse. According to a report from Music Business Worldwide, Apple is slashing the event this year.
We currently don’t know the reasons behind why Apple decided to discontinue its annual music festival, but Music Business Worldwide speculates that Apple might start focusing on single events instead.
Instead of focusing on an annual event, Apple looks to turn its resources and attention to Apple Music that recently partnered with Haim and Skepta for shows, as well as sponsored Drake’s summer tour last year.
Apple Music Festival started originally as iTunes Music Festival back in 2007, and celebrated its 10th year anniversary last year in London. Many famous artists such as Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and Elton John have performed at this event.
