Apple has released iOS 11.1.2 that addresses a few issues with the iPhone X. The new updates fixes an issue where screens on the iPhone X devices would become unresponsive due to cold weather. Affected users reported that their iPhone X displays kept freezing up when taking the phone into cold environments. The phone would go back to operating normally after a few seconds.

This is a quick turnaround fix for Apple after the issue first became public knowledge. The company knew and understood that this issue needed to be fixed sooner rather than later. Along the screen fix, iOS 11.1.2 also brings new patches to solve problems such as where live photos and video shot on the iPhone X could be distorted.

iOS 11.1.2 is now available for download, so hit the settings button and head into the software update section to get started.
