This certainly came as a surprise. According to a new report from BerryReview, the struggling BlackBerry is sending out invitations for an event being held on September 18. The company is rumored to be working on several new things, including a new BlackBerry device.
Quite a few things are currently happening at BlackBerry currently. One of the biggest things happening is the potential sale of the company. BlackBerry is continuously losing business in the mobile area because of very harsh competition from competitors like Samsung and Apple. The Z10 and Q10 have not performed as well as the company had hoped they would.
On the other hand, the company is working on two special things. The first is a new smartphone, the BlackBerry Aristo Z30, which is a larger smartphone with perhaps better internals and updated software. The second thing that many are looking forward to is BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) coming to iOS and Android platforms.
