Remember LG’s artificial intelligence technology, ThinQ? It was first introduced in the V30S, and now it’s coming to LG’s G-series phones. Specifically speaking, ThinQ is coming to the G7 that will debut in New York on May 2nd and Seoul on May 3rd.
In the company announcement, the G7 ThinQ’s ‘Empathic AI’ — as LG describes it — is better than its predecessor’s. Of course, we’ll be the judge of that once the device comes out and we get our hands on the device to put it to the test.
LG hasn’t given details about its G7 flagship phone, but Israeli news site YNET played with the phone a bit when it showed up in Barcelona during MWC. Similarly, Android Headlines got their hands on what it says is a press render, pretty much with the iPhone X-like notch.
In the photo pictured above, you can see five colors available that will be called “Aurora Black,” “Platinum Grey,” “Moroccan Blue,” “Moroccan Blue (Matte)” and “Raspberry Rose.” Previous leaks on the device suggest that it will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chip, f/1.5 aperture for better low-light performance, 6GB of RAM and 64G of storage.
