Mini’s making a statement to everyone that it’s adopting EV into its future. At an even ahead of the New York Auto Show, the company has unveiled the Classic Mini Electric, which is an older Mini that’s been brought forward as an electric vehicle.
The company has taken one of its older models and outfitted it with a battery pack, charging port and electric motor. Remember the iconic Mini badge? Well, it’s been replace with the electric logo that’s found not he company’s electric concept vehicle.
Just because Mini has showcased the vehicle doesn’t mean it will come to showrooms anytime soon because it’s a one-off vehicle. Though if you’re interested in the Mini electric concept, it will hit the showrooms in a production model in 2019, so be on the lookout for that.
