Netflix previously ousted Kevin Spacey from House of Cards show due to sexual harassment allegations. In addition to the ousting, the production of the show was put on hold to figure out how things would proceed without Spacey. Now, it appears that House of Cards production is back on track.
The streaming giant has resumed production of House of Cards for it’s sixth and final season. So far, there’s no word of when the new season will premier, but it’s expected that the show won’t make its first-half-of-the-year release timeframe.
In terms of the cast, most of them will remain, including Robin Weight (aka Claire Underwood), who will now be taking a more prominent role on the show. The sixth season fo the show will have Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear playing as siblings, but there aren’t any more additional details regarding their roles.
