If you’re a diehard UFC fan (even if you’re not), Amazon just gave you another option to watch fights. Starting with the March 3rd fight between Cris Cyborg and Yana Kunitskaya, the tech firm is now selling access to pay-per-view UFC matches for your viewing pleasures.
For the price of $65, you can watch the fights on any device that is capable of playing Prime Video. You do not need to have a Prime subscription to watch the fights, and you don’t need a TV subscription or a UFC Fight Pass, either.
Amazon is taking things to a new level with this offering. The company is supplementing Prime’s broadcast-style programming with premium events that would normally have you stick with your traditional TV viewing experience or visit another digital service. Just make sure you don’t completely depend on Amazon for your sports coverage, at least not until they company improves things even more with a wider collection, for example.
