Michigan Offensive Coordinator Tim Drevno reportedly resigns

Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno has reportedly submitted his resignation after three years with the program. Brandon Justice of the Wolverine Lounge and Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports reported Friday that Drevno has stepped down from his position.

Drevno’s resignation has come after Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh announced the hiring of Jim McElwain to be the wide receivers coach on February 20th.

ESPN’s Chris Low reported that McElwain will be involved in developing the weekly game plans and coordinating the offense of the team. Drevno previously served as the head coach at Florida, going 22-12 before he was fired midway through his third season last October.
