Acer announces Liquid S2, the first smartphone with 4K video recording

acer-liquid-s2When you hear of Acer, you typically think laptops and in other computing business aside from the mobile area.  The main stream phones such as iPhone and Samsung Galaxy series have overtaken the market so much that we hardly ever see or hear about new products that really catch users’ eyes.

Today, Acer has something new in store for you.  The company today announced the release of their smartphone, the Liquid S2.  Now you may be thinking that this is just another smartphone, with good hardware and Android software, but here’s one thing that this smartphone is bringing to the market that no other phone has, the ability to have 4K video recording.

That’s right folks, Acer Liquid S2 is the first smartphone in the market that is bringing 4K video recording into your hands.  The company has attached impressive hardware with the phone, such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz quad-core processor, a 6-inch full HD display (368 pixels per inch), 3,330 mAh battery, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on-device storage and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.  Some exclusive Acer features you will also get are Acer Float UI, Acer HD Channel, Acer Docs and Acer Remote Files, Acer Data Traffic Manager, Acer Float Caller, Acer Float Apps, Acer Live Screen™, Acer Print, and Acer Easy hotspot.

Currently, the only thing we know is that the company is set to release the phone in October.  However, we do not know what the price tag will be.

Are you looking forward to it?
