For weeks now, Blizzard has been teasing about what’s in store for the Overwatch Mission Archives, and now we have details. During the Overwatch League competition, Jeff Kaplan unveiled this year’s event, Retribution, which is a new PvE brawl. In it, four members of Blackwatch (Moira, McCree, Genji, and Reaper) take on Talon operatives in Venice after dark.
Kaplan also said that a daytime version of the new map feature in Retribution will be implemented as an Escort PVP map, but will arrive on the PTR before it arrives on the live game.
It wouldn’t be an Overwatch event if there weren’t new skins introduced. The Moira Blackwatch skin will be making an appearance, as well as a new Reaper skin that features Gabriel Reyes in his Soldier: 24 days. The new event will be running from April 10th through the 30th.
