Well, the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C were finally revealed by Apple.  After months of speculation, seeing rumors, leaked images, you name it, we finally see the two phones revealed by the Cupertino giant.  The response to the two iPhones has been mixed, however, many users are quite impressed with the iPhone 5S and what it brings to the table.

First of all, the iPhone 5S introduces a whole new category of smartphone architecture.  The new iPhone 5S comes in 64-bit ‘desktop-class architecture’.  This is the first time we are seeing a 64-bit system move into a smartphone.  Apple is the first company to introduce the 64-bit system into the mobile world, and surely enough, we will see other companies implementing this system in their smartphones in the near future.

When compared to the original iPhone back in 2007, the iPhone 5S sports an A7 chip, which is 40 times faster CPU and 56 times faster graphics performance.  Phil Schiller said that on the GPU side, the A7 supports the latest in mobile graphics standard, including OpenGL EL for console-level graphics.  The 64-bit chip is able to run the 32-bit system apps until they get support for the higher architecture.

For the iPhone 5C, it’s exactly what we expected it to be.  The internals of the 5C are very similar to the iPhone 5, which is now discontinued.  Below are details about both the iPhone 5S.  Since the iPhone 5C is similar to the iPhone 5, we already know of those specs.
