Now Get Refurbished Pixel Phones from Google Directly

Refurbished Pixel 6 Phones

You can now get refurbished Pixel phones directly from Google. That’s right. As spotted by The Verge, the company is selling refurbished Pixel 6, Pixel 6A, and Pixel 7 headsets from its Google Store.

Here’s the deal: you can purchase the phones for up to 40 percent off their original price. Compared to new models and their respective pricing, these are quite the enticing deals.

Each smartphone comes with the standard 1-year limited warranty and customer support, exactly like you would when you purchase a new phone. Each refurbished phone is “carefully inspected” by Google to make sure the are fully operational, meaning the phone itself, screens and batteries are in top shape. A company representative, however, has said there are no guarantees offered regarding the battery life of the refurbished phones. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, though. Batteries tend to degrade slowly at first, then more overtime.

The pricing for the refurbished Pixel 6, Pixel 6A, and Pixel 7 phones is really enticing here. The Pixel 6 is available for $339 instead of the usual $599. The Pixel 7 Pro can be bought for $629, instead of the $899 price-tag.

It’s worth mentioning that all refurbished models are offered in 128GB storage, for now. Google spokesperson Patrick Seybold did mention that additional storage tiers will be available in the near future.

All phones will come with the latest version of Android, as well as a compatible charger. Free shipping included, of course.

Our Take

If you’re on the market for a Pixel phone, these Pixel 6, Pixel 6A, and Pixel 7 phones at these refurbished prices are quite attractive. Keep in mind that these phones are refurbished, but they also come with the industry-standard 1-year limited warranty. This should give you some peace of mind that Google is giving you the same warranty experience as new phones.
