BlackBerry has been trying hard to gain traction in the smartphone market today. The duopoly by Samsung and Apple is currently holding back several other companies from coming up, such as BlackBerry and Microsoft. The once great Blackberry is hard at work, and to catch up with modern technology and demand, the company released the not-so-impressive Z10 and Q10. The company is at it again with releasing another smartphone in a new ‘Z’ series.
So far, what we know is that BlackBerry is planning to release a phablet to compete with the growing popularity of other over-sized smartphones such as the Galaxy Note. The Z30 looks like like any other over-sized smartphone, except with its own touch in it.
In a new video released by Schannel, we can see a hands-on video of the BlackBerry Z30 phablet. You can see in the video below. Also look at the host of pictures taken of the Z30. In the pictures and video, you will see that the Z30 model used is for AT&T.
The BlackBerry Z30 is rumored to feature the following specs:
- Qualcomm MSM8960 chip, 1.7GHz dual-core CPU
- 5“ OLED screen, 1280 x 720 pixels at 295ppi
- 8-megapixel camera with LED flash
- 2-megapixel front camera
- 2GB RAM
- 16 GB internal storage (option to expansion?)
- 2800 mAh battery
- BlackBerry 10.2 software
