8:30 AM – Samsung has already released plenty of devices in the smartphone market, and here’s yet another device. The company gadget spam into the market has worked well for them as it gives a lot of choices to the consumer.
Enter the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2, the successor to the original Galaxy Grand. The new smartphone sees an improvement from the original version, however still has mid-range specs. It’s nothing to really boast about, but it’s no slouch either.
The Grand 2 comes with a 5.2-inch display that has a resolution of 1280×720. A 1.2GHz quad-core CPU for processing power, 1.5GB RAM and and has Android 4.3 underneath with TouchWiz. On-board storage is just 8GB but there is a microSD card slot that can be used for more storage. The phone comes with a 2600mAh battery, which is pretty decent.
Up next, how good is the camera? The Grand 2 has a 8-megapixel rear camera and front is currently unknown. The camera’s use is enhanced with Samsung’s provided software such as Story Album, Sound & Shot, Samsung Hub and Samsung Link.
The Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 is available in white and black colors at launch. Pink is also available, but in specific regions.
