Comcast Xfinity xFi introduces new push notifications feature for customers

Starting this week, Comcast is introducing a new feature for all Xfinity xFi customers. The feature is where users will start receiving push notifications anytime there is a change on their network. For example, if your child were to hop on the Wi-Fi in the middle of the night when they’re supposed to be sleeping, push notifications will now inform users to rat them out.

The notification events include a new device joining the network, any tweaking of security settings, change to the WiFi name and/or password, if the WiFi network has been hidden or unhidden and if the network’s IP address has changed.

While all of these features are nice, if you don’t want them pushed to your phone, you can find all of the notifications within the Notification Center of the xFi app.
