THE FEEL OF PERFORMANCE

Audi’s A8 comes packed with one engine and transmission combination. It features a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 standing at 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels. You feel the power through the ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission. There’s also mild hybrid assistance through a 48-volt electrical system. The Audi A8 has a 5.6-sprint to 60 mph.

There’s also options for a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 or plug-in hybrid versions, both delivering 100 extra horsepower for those of you that want more power and different options.

In terms of the fuel economy, the Audi A8 offers 19 mpg in city and 29 mpg on the highway.

RIDE QUALITY

The Audi A8 features a ride quality that the automaker took to a new level. The A8 is engineering primary for passenger comfort through the use of air suspension, and will rock through those bump roads fairly smoothly.

Through the use of many sensors, the A8 is able to scan the road for imperfections and adjust accordingly. When the sensor picks something up, the air suspension will lift by two inches to absorb the incoming impact before going back to normal.

INTERIOR ELEGANCE

The interior of the Audi A8 is completely breath-taking. The A8 is elegant, clean, and composed of high-end materials that you expect in a luxury car, and extremely comfortable to sit in. The design, real wood grain trim and piano black surfaces on stepper tiers, it’s incredibly satisfying. The front seats are available through 22-way adjustments, as well as massage functions, ventilation, and heating. There’s an ergonomic Gear selector available that provides a comfort place for the driver to rest their wrist while using the touchscreen.

The experience for the rear passenger seats is even better. There’s reclining seats, power sunshades, Matrix LED reading lights, and a heated foot massage available to those sitting. There’s a detachable device the size of a smartphone that’s available so you can control everything through it.

CAR WARRANTY INFORMATION

The 2019 Audi A8 comes with a four year/50,000 miles of limited warranty protection. In addition, there’s four years of 24-hour roadside assurance and your first scheduled maintenance is also covered. These coverages are in direct competition with their rivals.
